Prepare for Your Visit

  • Face coverings:  All visitors ages 2 and older will be required to wear a mask/face covering. Masks must be worn while inside the Museum during your play duration time. (Face shields are acceptable to those with health restrictions.)

  • COVID-19 HEALTH SCREENING AND QUESIONNAIRE: We will conducting temperature checks and COVID system questionnaire when groups enter the Museum. If a visitor reports they have recently experienced symptoms related to COVID-19; we will offer a rescheduling to return when they are well.

  • Social Distancing: We encourage and promote social distancing  while playing on exhibits and exploring the Museum. The capacity of each exhibit area will be limited to one family/household group at a time. We ask parents/adults to encourage children to wait their turn in line by following our floor decals or "waiting points" near each exhibit.

  • Food and Drinks: Temporarily food will not be allowed to be consumed inside the Museum, and we will limit the amount of tables available in our patio area. We will allow water bottles in the Museum, but ask all visitors to respect other parties and drink them at appropriate times and areas. Water fountains will be closed.

  • Our Welcome Center: All visitors will visit our Welcome Center before exploring the Museum. There is a handwashing station and a welcome video to watch upon entry. We encourage all guests to wash and sanitize their hands before, during and after playing in the Museum.

How can you help us?

  • Please do not visit the Children’s Museum if you or a member of your family is sick with flu-like symptoms.

  • Please encourage your family to wash their hands and/or use the provided hand sanitizers before and after playing at the Children’s Museum.

  • Encourage your child to wash their hands for 20 seconds, the length of singing the Happy Birthday song twice.

  • If you notice that we are out of hand soap or sanitizer please let a Museum staff member know right away.
